In 2010, thanks to our sponsors, the runners and all the voluntary helpers, Sevenoaks Rotary Club raised over £6,500.
This year (2011) we hope to raise at least £8,000 for The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust and Kent Air Ambulance with a small amount for other Rotary Charities. Both The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust and Kent Air Ambulance rely entirely on public donations. We are very grateful to our principal sponsors and would welcome other local businesses to participate and help us to achieve this target.
Businesses and other groups may also wish to enter a 'team' to support their own charities.
Sponsorship provides a 'banner ad' (as the examples shown right) on this web-site, together with printed and race notice / entry forms. We expect to distribute at least 2000 leaflets with race details/entry forms.
A standard 4cm. x 3cm. printed ad and 200 x 150 pixel web ad, plus permission for Company banners on the day will cost £200 with any extra donations gratefully received.
The 10k Run has now established itself as a major event on the calendar in the South East in the period leading up to the London Marathon.
In 2011 we expect > 900 runners with major publicity again in the Sevenoaks Chronicle and The Vine magazine. As well as posters and emailed messages, we know that our excellent website, with it`s links to all the sponsor firms and local interest groups, will once again be a major channel for information and publicity.
Look forward to hearing from you,
